About me

Improve the quality of your life or the life of a loved one.  Invest in yourself or someone you love, today!

Hi, my name is Ruth. I began my career as a person-centred educationalist and have always enjoyed helping others grow through creative engagement. In recent years, as a result of my voluntary work for a national bereavement charity, I extended my work to help people write their life stories.

I have now attained a Master's degree in Counselling and am registered with the BACP and ACC as an integrative counsellor. I aim to respond to your emotional and spiritual needs and preferences so that together, we may reach a better understanding of your situation, the way you feel about it, and the choices available to you.

I offer a disability-friendly, inclusive service in the following ways

Face-to-face sessions in a dedicated, wheelchair-accessible therapy room in Lichfield, Staffordshire,

Wheelchair-accessible walk-and-talk sessions, combining fresh air and exercise with empathic listening and exploration of your situation, or

Phone or Videolink sessions, offering an alternative way to relate to each other in a therapeutic way.
